To list a property with Mary Rae, is to experience the consummate luxury of personal service, attention to detail, and understanding that has characterized her extraordinary real estate career.
It's been 35-years of unique achievement, highlighted by official recognition by her peers, and the Mayor and City Council of Denver.
She grew up and was educated in Denver, and is intimately familiar with the history and charms of each of its neighborhoods, but especially those of Denver's core.
Inspired by the vision of an inner-city renaissance, she embarked on her real estate career in 1971, and by 1975 was the owner of her own Denver brokerage company. In the years following, she earned a national reputation as one of the prominent promoters of Denver's inner city revival.
Through her efforts, many historic and architecturally significant properties built by Denver's early pioneer leaders were saved from demolition and 'recycled' to new residential and business use. Her efforts were chronicled in the pages of The Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News, and The Wall Street Journal of the period.
By the late 1980s she earned a city-wide reputation as a pace-setting broker for Denver's luxury condominium market. She is a specialist for buyers and sellers of fine residences valued at $1 million and up.
Her diligence and personal attention has instilled a loyalty in many of the clients she has worked with - and as a result - they return to her to sell the property they originally bought through her when personal circumstances have changed.
In 1996 she was named 'Salesperson of the Year' by her peers at the Denver Board of Realtors, a coveted award given to its most noteworthy and successful member during the year.
In 1998, when she sold the historic building that housed her company's own offices, she retired from details of running her own business to return to her real love - working directly with her clients. She selected Kentwood City Properties as the best place to do that.
In an official 2002 resolution, the Mayor and City Council of Denver recognized her and two others for their years of success promoting the value of the city's inner-city neighborhoods as a place to live.
A gourmet cook, accomplished gardener, and mother of two grown children, she has a keen insight to the needs of her seller and buyer clients and their families when they engage her considerable expertise.
"I've been best at matching my clients to the perfect property - whether it's a cottage or a castle. Expertise and experience isn't expensive - it's priceless!," she says.
